The Global Startup Ecosystem Report, Fintech Edition has named Charlotte as #9 for it’s startup fintech ecosystem. The Charlotte Regional Business Alliance reported that Charlotte received this ranking for financial technology startups in global regions with populations under 3 million.
According to Kimberly Moore-Wright, Truist Teammate Officer & Head of Enterprise Diversity, “People think about Charlotte as this huge financial and banking sector, and it is. But Charlotte is becoming an innovation incubator and fueling unprecedented growth and opportunity in the innovation space, including FinTech.
