Recently, Bullhorn published its GRID 2023 Industry Trends Report. Their researchers pooled 2,000 firms of various sizes across the United States to arrive at the stats presented below.
According to Bullhorn, “The top-performing firms took a different approach to how they use technology, source candidates, and engage their talent pools. Learn more about what set them apart and get an in-depth look at their priorities, challenges, and outlook across the industry.”
What are key insights from the industry trends report?
Digital Transformation. According to Bullhorn, teams that are high-performing are twice as likely to implement automation in their business processes. In 2022, digitized automation influenced firms’ growth the most. Bullhorn also says these top performers are doubling down on digital transformation in 2023.
Priorities. In 2023, firms are the most concerned for how to win new business and list this as their top priority.
Talent shortages. Bullhorn mentions that 66% of surveyed firms indicated a talent shortage leading into 2023. This was an increase from both 2022 and 2021.
Revenue outlook and challenges for 2023. Among winning new business, 56% firms in 2023 are also focused on tightening their talent pools. In a market that has been so candidate-focused, businesses must pivot and meet the candidates where they’re at. For companies who want to increase their bottom line, expectations are not as high as this time last year. 36% of firms predict year-over-year growth for 2023 compared to 40% from the 2022 report.
In summary, 2023 is all about levelling up – levelling up your technology, levelling up your automation, and more.
