All three cities ranked among the Top 10, where Raleigh came in at #3, Denver came in at #6, and Charlotte came in at #10. According to LinkedIn News, “these ‘opportunity magnet’ metros have made the most of a wide-ranging variety of economic strategies. Some well-known tech hubs top the list, but that’s hardly the only type of industry concentration that can pay off.”
LinkedIn says that geographically, where the top cities for employment growth are concerned, the list speaks to the diverse strength of the U.S. economy – especially away from the coastal cities that often dominate media attention. Surprisingly, only two of the top 15 U.S. cities for employment growth are located along the West Coast, with the majority of these cities in the Midwest or Rocky Mountain region.
