One exciting feature about the new OS includes optimizing your screen productivity. Now, you can organize open apps with pre-configured snap layouts that intelligently adapt to your screen size.
New updates to Microsoft Teams allow for a more streamlined process of sharing files and muting/unmuting right from your taskbar. Teams in Windows 11 will also include noise-canceling technology with the background blur that might be familiar to some of you.
According to Microsoft, Windows 11 security features “sets a far stronger baseline through several adjustments.” The new OS will raise the TPM and CPU requirements and have default security features that are activated without any action required from the user.
Are there any known bugs or issues?
Like most updated operating systems, you can expect a few bugs in the first rollout. Thus far, Microsoft has identified a few quirks that some users have noticed. These include:
- Some files are not trashed when “Remove everything” is selected in OneDrive.
- Outlook search may not identify recent emails when stored locally in PST or OST files
