Atlanta, Charlotte, Denver, and Raleigh Rank in the Top 25 Cities For Digital Nomads

Atlanta, GA Named #1 Overall

With the rise of remote work, digital nomads have become a growing segment of the workforce. These individuals can work from anywhere, as long as they have access to the internet. As a result, many cities across the United States are competing to attract this demographic. CNBC recently released a list of the top US cities for digital nomads, based on factors such as cost of living, internet speed, and access to co-working spaces.

Booming Economies, Low Unemployment Rates

Another city on the list is #14 Denver, CO. With its beautiful mountain views, outdoor recreation opportunities, and thriving startup scene, Denver has a lot to offer digital nomads. The city also has a high quality of life, with a relatively low cost of living compared to other tech hubs like San Francisco and New York. Additionally, Denver has a robust network of co-working spaces and a supportive community of remote workers.

Charlotte, NC ranked #18, and Raleigh, NC ranked #24 on the list.  Looking for a city with ample job opportunities? These cities boast strong economies, diverse job markets, and a low unemployment rate. Raleigh and Charlotte, in particular, have been attracting tech companies, while Denver is known for its growing startup scene. Atlanta, on the other hand, has a diverse range of industries, including finance, healthcare, and transportation.

Quality of Life Remains Important

In addition to a strong job market, these cities also offer a high quality of life. Raleigh and Charlotte have a thriving food and arts scene, with plenty of outdoor recreation opportunities nearby. Denver, of course, is famous for its beautiful mountain views and access to world-class skiing and hiking. Atlanta offers a rich cultural history, with attractions such as the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site and the High Museum of Art.
