A Message from APC
As the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) continues to spread globally, APC as a company, is taking appropriate precautions to address the outbreak by following guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
It is our priority to keep our employees, contractors, clients and all families healthy.
Given this is a rapidly developing situation, we will continue to monitor developments and update our course of action as new information becomes available through the WHO and CDC and any federal and/or state requirements. In the meantime, please do your part to stay healthy!

Information for Clients
APC is closely monitoring all federal and state regulations and following the guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and encouraging all employees and candidates to follow social distancing and all suggestions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
These measures may be slowing down travel and in-person meetings, it’s certainly not lowering the demand or competition for today’s top talent.
The good news is that your organization doesn’t need to miss out on meeting with the best & brightest. APC can arrange for video interviews with candidates via Zoom or Skype. Or, if you prefer to use your own technology, we can facilitate that process as well.

Information for Field Employees
CDC guidelines & information APC is following include:
Symptoms can include fever, runny nose, cough and breathing trouble. COVID-19 is believed to be spread person to person and is most contagious when an infected individual is most symptomatic. But an individual may still be contagious without exhibiting any symptoms.
If you have symptoms of acute respiratory illness, you should immediately seek medical attention and follow the guidance of your health care provider. If you are diagnosed with or aware you’ve been directly exposed to COVID-19, please notify APC Human Resources at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to avoid it.
Do your part by practicing good hygiene at work and at home:
- Regularly wash your hands for at least 20 seconds throughout the day with warm water and soap, specifically before eating.
- Cover coughs and sneezes.
- Avoid making close contact with others, such as shaking hands.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
- Frequently disinfect commonly used surfaces with household cleaning spray or wipes.
Unessential travel (Domestic/International) or group gatherings should be completely avoided.
If a client requests or approves working from home, employees are highly encouraged to do so to help minimize the spread of the virus.

Information for Independent Contractors & Self-Employed Individuals
Please note: This section provides information for parties who are not W-2 employees, as discussed below.
As many of you have probably heard in the news, the federal government recently implemented a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) for organizations with fewer than 500 employees providing a loan and possible loan forgiveness under very favorable conditions. The intent of this program is to keep workers employed and is intended for independent contractors and self-employed individuals as well as corporations.
April 10, 2020 is the date independent contractors and self-employed individuals can begin to make application, so there is still time to prepare your application and supporting documents.

Additionally, you may also be eligible for unemployment compensation. Please check with your state for more information.
Other Information & Updates for Field Employees
April 3, 2020
In response to COVID-19, APC has updated the PTO Policy for field professionals so that employees with APC paid time off can use up to negative (-) 8 hours of APC PTO if they choose to do so. Should employment with APC end, any negative balance for PTO would be deducted from employee’s last paycheck if permitted by applicable law, or employees may be required to reimburse APC.
